JANUARY 26

Description:
Welcome back Global Conference Attendees while they discuss their impressions, learning’s, and take-a-ways from the Orlando Conference.  Join us as we recreate Peter Block’s opening Super Session Process, “Community, The Structure of Belonging.” The panel will consist of Frank Brogni, ACC, Rachel Schaming, ACC, Nicole Shanti, and Diane Brennan, MCC.  A group discussion will follow.

FEBRUARY 23

Presenter: Sandy Vilas

Description:
We are privileged to welcome Mr. Sandy Vilas, MCC, and Past-President of the International Coach Federation, will grace our Chapter with a demonstration of his Laser Coach Technique.  You will witness Sandy present the Coaching method that launched what has been referred to as the “Largest Coaching Practice in the World.”  Sandy Vilas is a legend in Coaching who studied with Thomas Leonard and took CoachU, the premier Coach Training Program, International.  A group discussion will follow.

MARCH 23

Presenter: Dr. Ira Dressner, PCC

Description:
In the first of three sessions, Dr. Ira Dressner, PCC, will demonstrate the Core Competency of "Establishing the Coaching Agreement" and "Coaching Presence," "Establishing Trust and Intimacy with a client."

This demonstration will be from the assessor’s point of view so candidates and seasoned coaches will experience exactly how the ICF sees these competencies in use.  Following this demonstration, Dr. Dressner will perform a real time coaching assessment while being coached by a volunteer.  This activity will fulfill a vision that the Chapter would be a resource of continued Coach training geared toward attaining Coaching excellence.  You really will not want to miss these special sessions. Discussion will follow the presentation.

APRIL 27

Presenter: Terry Hickey

Description:
Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) is a skill many Coaches use in their practice for a variety of reasons; not the least of which, is to help their clients question non-supporting beliefs.

We are proud to present a superb NLP practitioner, Terry Hickey.  Terry will bring us a demonstration of “How to Discover How People Create Their Experience,” with a presentation which he calls, “The Map is Not the Territory.”

You will learn how people create their unique experience and keep it in place.  You will also discover how to use specific language patterns to help others create new experiences; then, you can help people update their “Maps”, to change their experiences. Wow!

Terry is a certified Master Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming who has worked in the fields of Business Leadership Development and Athletic Performance.  Terry is also a Certified Hypnotherapist.  You can find Terry online at www.terryhickey.com.  Following the presentation will be a group discussion on the learning.

Presenter: Les Taylor

Description:
Les Taylor is an expert in the field of performance improvement and management development.  You will walk away from his presentation with a working document, his signature "One Year Business Plan" will become your one year business Plan.

Les is an award winning author and speaker whose most recent book is titled, "Moving from Activity to Achievement," keys for transforming your life and your business.

Les Taylor is a graduate of Arizona State University and the FBI National Academy; he enjoyed a twenty-six year career in law enforcement before founding Achievement Solutions.  You can find less on the internet at www.achievement-solutions.com.  Following the presentation will be a discussion on the learning.

JUNE 4 - Midyear Social

Join us for light refreshments and social networking at one of our favorite watering holes, Luna Bella on Swan at Fort Lowell, starting at 5:30 until 7:30 on June 4th.  Members are free and guests are just $15.00.  You can sign up online starting in mid-April at www.tucsoncoaches.com.  Last year's event was so much fun we decided to repeat.  Bring a friend or client.  Cash bar will be open.

In the second of a three part series, Dr. Ira Dressner, PCC, will continue to demonstrate ICF Core Competencies by illustrating the competency of "How to Create Awareness," "Active Listening," "Powerful Questioning," and "Direct Communication."  Join us as we witness these elements at work in the manner that only an ICF Assessor can present.  In addition, Ira will do a real time assessment while being Coached by a volunteer.  Following the presentation will be discussion on the learning.

Discover and Connect with Your Passions:  Introduction to the Passion Test as a coaching tool that will bring value to your coaching practice. 

Colleen will lead you into an inquiry of "what is passion and why is it important?"  You will be introduced to a simple tool to discover your top five passions.  You will learn the three core principles of living a passionate life.  Finally you will learn the seven keys to living a passionate life.

Colleen Crook coaches spiritually conscious individuals in identifying their life purpose, discovering what they are passionate about and then live their passion and purpose on a grand scale however that is for them. Colleen supports individuals to be leaders in their life and community while authentically creating what matters most with joy, ease and delicious fun. Colleen, is a certified facilitator of the Passion Test(TM), certified Yin circle Facilitator, and is the founder and owner of Conscious Living Connection.
